“My advice would be for you to try The Sport Brain™ for yourself. It really will save you time and provide solid support if you are considering setting up a new BTEC programme.”

Key Message: Ideal for teachers with limited BTEC experience, excellent customer support
Organisation: Berlin Brandenburg International School
Berlin Brandenburg International School is an International school with 700 students, located in Germany. The school, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015, is one of the first in the world to offer all four International Baccalaureate programmes. The school has a number of BTEC courses as part of its Career-related programme. We learned from the school’s Head of PE how The Sport Brain™ has supported them by simplifying the administrative process and establishing a sound structure for the programme.
“The Sport Brain™ has helped us in a number of ways. It has helped us to establish the structure of the programme and by supporting the assessment guidelines, in accordance with the awarding body. We have saved hours of time in planning, preparation and printing and we estimate saving around 3 to 4 hours work per assignment, which was previously spent on paperwork.
The resources within the learning cloud can be a useful addition for experienced teachers and provide guidance and support for those who are less experienced. We have saved money by eradicating the need for a large number of textbooks, in addition to reducing time spent on marking, for example there is no longer the need to collate student work with front cover sheets.
The Internal Verification process is supported as the system speeds up the process, alerts with notifications, and removes the need for paper to be carried and transported to the Internal Verifier by the assessor and vice versa. The software offers a very straight forward process which works in line with BTEC guidelines.”
Lisa Johnson – Head of Physical Health Education
“The learning cloud supports students by helping them organise and keep on top of their work. They are able to access their work from around the world, giving the students the ability to complete their work with solid support away from school, for example during the holidays.” – Student View
